Electoral Literacy Club
Electoral Literacy Club (ELC) has been established in the college with the aim to strengthen the culture of electoral participation among young voters and familiarize them about their electoral rights and the electoral process of registration and voting. The various activities undertaken by the ELC are :
To organize camps for encouraging students for electoral registration, if not already registered.
To organise programs under SVEEP, Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation Program, to sensitize students about the procedure relating to offline/online registration of their names in Electoral Roll and other facilities available offline or online to the voters regarding ethical voting.
To organize various activities like poster making, slogan writing, painting etc. on the theme of electoral process highlighting the need and importance of participation of voters in the electoral process. To encourage students to disseminate the knowledge about the importance of voting rights and duties of citizens as responsible voters in their neighborhood.
