Promote and support community music engagement. Equip students with the knowledge and skills to advocate music for music’s sake. Facilitate and encourage students’ life-long and long-wide involvement in music teaching and learning.
Develop the ability of hear, identify and work conceptually with elements of music such as rhythm, melody, harmony, timbre, texture and form. Develop an understanding of and the ability to read and realize musical notation.
Music develops versatile strengths, ideal for any industry: Personal organisation, rigorous self-discipline, time management and dedication to succeed in a competitive field. Event management and teamwork skills will show employers you can came up with creative solutions and work with others effectively. After the complete course in music students can get jobs in schools, colleges, universities, music industry, ratio stations, T.V. channels, a music therapist and instrumentalist.
